WHY SOCIAL DISTANCING IS VERY CRUCIAL
Hello there, how are you doing today? I trust that you are keeping safe. We will be discussing about COVID-19 and how Social Distancing helps slow down the spread of the virus.
The virus that causes COVID-19 is primarily conveyed through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes or speaks. These droplets are too heavy to hang in the air. They quickly fall on surfaces.
As COVID-19 continues to spread , people are being educated on the importance of Social Distancing so as to minimize close contact with other people. It is very important and effective approach to curtail the spread of Corona Virus.
Since COVID-19 spreads from one person to the other reducing the way people come in close contact with one another is important. Social Distancing implies staying home as much as possible and avoiding crowded public places where you will likely be in close proximity with other people.
This is why stay at home orders are in place in so many communities, canceling physical gatherings of more than ten people. It is also why many schools are not operating physically now, but have switched to virtual learning. For essential trips like grocery shopping the NCDC recommends wearing a face mask and staying atleast 2metres away from others.

WHY SOCIAL DISTANCING IS IMPORTANT.
Social Distancing is an essential way to curtail the spread of COVID-19. It is vital that you adhere to the Social Distancing recommendation in your community, whether you are in one of the high risk groups or not.
Social distancing only works if we all participate, with schools closed and people working from home, it might be tempting to think that gathering of more than ten people is safe.
NOTE: The spread of COVID-19 has been rapid and the Federal and State Governments are doing whatever is necessary to protect all people from getting sick.

KEEP YOUR DISTANCE:
One way to slow down the spread of viruses, such as Corona Virus is physical distancing. The more space between you and others, the harder it is for the virus to spread.

-Care for the sick person in a single room if possible
-Keep the number of carers to a minimum
-Keep the door to the sick personā€™s room closed
-Wear face mask whenever you are in the same room with the sick person. The sick person should also wear a face mask when other people are in the same room.

AT WORK:
You ought to work from home if it works for you and your employer. If you cannot work from home and you are sick, you must not get to your workplace. You need to stay at home and away from others.
